About Gig

I have been involved in photography for over 20 years, sparked as a child by my love for wildlife,especially birds. My first attempt at photography caused much hilarity from my brother Neil who jested that it was a 'spot the bird' competition. I have come a long way since then!

I was orginally involved with stills photography in art and theatre films. Then in my 20s and 30s I found my zest for travel, with adventures in Mexico, California, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Israel, Germany, Canada, Alaska, Gambia and Morocco.

I moved to the Alpujarras from London in 1990, where I am now surrounded by photographic heaven.

I am married to Ri and have two step-children, Jed who is 14 and Alden who is 9. My time these days is spent between Spain and the Cotswolds, between the mountains and the valleys.
